Indika Beach Villa

Lovely family and all the staff were super friendly, can’t beat going to sleep and waking up to the sound of the ocean, total relax with tasty food, fab breakfasts and fresh local fish. We’re heading back at the end of our trip to spend the last few days here. Thanks Indika and all for a fab stay.

After spending 24 days in Sri Lanka and having hit and miss accommodation, I was thrilled to stay here and experience true beach living. The sea view room is exactly that. You wake up and walk into your balcony that is on the beach. 30 seconds later you can be in the sea. Indika is a fantastic host and his knowledge of the country is excellent. Whilst here he knocked at our door after we had turned in to let us know a turtle had appeared to attempt to lay eggs on the beach. We then respectfully at a distance watched this event unfold. True magic that cost nothing. He chatted to us to explain what was occurring. The food was fantastic, and when I asked for the devilled chicken I was asked how hot I’d like it. Little touches like that mean a lot. The whole team work hard and clearly care about the business, the area and the environment. It’s so refreshing… highly recommend.

My friend and I loved the location at the beachfront! You can relax on the sunbeds that are provided & eat and drink delicious food at the beach cafe that comes with the villa. We were very happy that we didn’t book a room directly in Galle. Would recommend everyone to stay here and take a Tuk Tuk to explore Galle if you want to explore the old town of Galle.

Loved the ocean view cabin. Absolutely made the stay with that view out to the Indian Ocean. Every morning I went into the balcony and watched the sea crash onto the beach. Indika and his team were absolutely wonderful hosts. The food was the best I’ve had in Sri Lanka and I’ve stayed all over the island. If you want a unique stay with a family feel to the place then come stay here. I highly recommend Indika Beach Villa.

Indika and his team have got a great thing going here. So warm and welcoming as soon as we arrived and a great vibe throughout our stay - so chilled whilst making sure you have what you need. We were in one of the rooms without a view which we were initially concerned about but it really isn’t an issue when the beach is literally 30 steps from the room. The room is a good size with good bathroom. AC and fan were ideal. We had 5 nights here and didn’t think to eat anywhere else - the food is so good and great choice on offer. The fish is super fresh and delicious. The beach is so nice and quiet and the sea is good for swimming (once you get past the breakers!). Indika taught us how to play Karam and we had some great games with him and the team during our stay. Overall, awesome team, awesome place. Istuti Indika!

Beautiful, large room right next to the beach. With a balcony overlooking the sea. We kept our doors a little open so the seabreeze and soothing sound of the waves crashing comforted us to sleep. The owner is a very chill and nice person, willing to help you with planning trips etc. The food in the restaurant is amazing! We had a very wonderful stay 🫶🏻

That we didn't stay longer than 1 night...

The upstairs room with the balcony is just the dream place you have in mind when thinking about your stay by the beach in Sri Lanka. The bathroom is simple, but with a window on the ocean and the palm trees. No better way to get up in the morning! I loved the big windows for the light, and the quietness of the place. The restaurant is located on another building, next to the room so you don’t have any noise though you only have to go 1 meter to get the best food of the beach. Try the chicken chilli! Finally, Indika was the kindest host I had so far. He’s always thinking about the well being of his guests and keen on sharing!

This is beautiful stay. Room was ok ok but location is worth that cost and the host Indi was so good.
