Indika Beach Villa

The location was good. The food was good. Everything was at a decent price. Can recommend

Perfect location right on the beach, 20 mins to Galle fort. Indika and his family are great hosts including a very smart 2yr old! So polite & helpful throughout our stay. Foods great ate here a few times and couldn’t fault it. Large basic room, clean.

Close to a pretty busy main road mixed with the violent sea can be pretty loud at night but didn’t bother my bf so depend on u. No view from room but we didn’t pay for one specifically so didn’t expect one. All great tbh

This villa is like a dream - directly on a very quiet and clean beach. The facilities were great and the host very kind and helpful. The food at the Indika restaurant was also so good, highly recommended.

The property is perfectly located right on a serene, uncrowded beach, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. The hospitality of the host and his family is exceptional—they are welcoming, attentive, and make you feel at home. The combination of the idyllic location and outstanding service made the stay truly memorable.

There was nothing to dislike—it was a wonderful experience from start to finish.

That was probably our favourite spot during our stay on the island. We were supposed to head to the central regions, but due to the weather situation in the mountains, returned for two more nights after our initial three. The place has the best atmosphere, right by the seafront and Indika was a super kind, welcoming and helpful host, along with his lovely family and of course dear Shadow. The food was really delicious and as for the waiting times mentioned by some below, it was more of a catch-of-the-day situation (husband really loved the chance to fish on the beach himself, also!), so that can really be expected and is absolutely worth it.

You really can't beat the location! I got one of the rooms (which was large and had a comfy bed) with a balcony and it was fantastic to sit watching the waves. The food was top notch too, and the service from every single person! Indika, the owner, organised a tuk tuk to Galle town, and was always available and attentive.

It's basic, in that there isn't hot water or air conditioning or toiletries. But it's worth the rustic stuff for being right on the beach!

Very nice villa with a wonderful view, located on a secluded beach. The hosts, Indika and his family were very attentive and friendly, they treated us like guests in their own house. They recently opened a restaurant next door with delicious food. We enjoyed the company of Shadow and the other dogs that visited the villa constantly.😍 Villa was clean, we had towels and soap. This place is perfect for few days to explore the beach side, we totally recommend it. Thank you Indika and family for hosting us!

The water in the shower was cold in the evening, I think it is warm only during the day. Also a mini fridge would be great in the room, but I’m sure if needed, the hosts can help with keeping your stuff in fridge if requested. Because it is a simple wooden house on the beach, during night time is a bit noisy because of the waves and insects and lizards can come in, for us it was ok but other tourists should be aware of it.
