Indika Beach Villa

Friendly owner, good food, nice location.

During rain windows were slightly leaking.

Even out of all the luxury hotels in our tour. This place was the best.. Indika is a gem of a person and the food here is delicious. Starting from the organic juices to full meals everything was great. The waves crashing onto the shore will simply make you extend your stay here. Its the closest villa i ever saw to a beach❤

What a kind and helpful host family. They were so kind in sourcing and packing unexpected luggage in boxes and very very kind to let us keep our bags there until the evening. Everyone was super friendly, including the dogs! You are RIGHT on the beach which makes for lovely walks and a stunning sunset. Air con worked well.

It feels disloyal being critical when people are so very kind, but here is our honest review. The place is located on a small strip between the busy road and beach, so very noisy. The playlist of a few songs was on repeat and in competition with the reggae bar a few meters away. Vaguely warm water, bathroom door didn't close, not terribly clean, the food was unbelievably oily. Totally not anyone's fault but a warning for other travellers, old usd dollar bills aren't accepted and this turned out to be a huge problem. The room is great with a/c on but otherwise stuffy and the smell wasn't great. Galle Fort is quite away away and cost 1,000 rupees in a tuktuk. Sorry for not giving you a good review Indika, but we stayed at cheaper places that were exceptional.

Everthing. The best owner and helpfull staff. Indika is very kind, Thanks to him I was able to fix a problem I had and I resolved it. It helps you with everything you need. I really recommend this accommodation, right in front of the beach. Perfect accommodation, everything very clean, spacious, quiet and clean. The restaurant next to the beach is very good and very well priced, with a lot of variety. I 100% recommend staying if you plan to go to Galle and surrounding areas.

Indika Beach Villa is a dream. Direct location by the sea, not a tourist spot, which means you can totally relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. Everyone there goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The food at Indika is delicious! The stay at Indika Beach Villa is very familiar and a special experience. Indika and his family also live there and are super nice and treat you like family. For example, Indika took us to the fishermen and explained to us how everything works, when we wanted to go to an ATM he took my friend with him on his scooter, he had small fish prepared and we were allowed to eat with him. Indika really does everything for you. We felt very comfortable and would come back at any time.

A wonderful hotel on a beautiful coast with a very nice family. A place in the style of an island, clean rooms, exceptionally tasty and always fresh food. We felt at home thanks to the wonderful atmosphere. We came as tourists, we are coming back as friends :) We will miss you! See you next time, thank you 🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️

Indika was the greatest host you can wish for. He is such a nice and welcoming person and ready to help with everyhing. And so is the whole team. On top of that, we have found a new friend. You will feel a warm and authentic atmosphere and the spirit of a community. And not yo forget - the food was so delicious! We spent 4 nights here and couldn't find anything better then this. The rooms with ocean view were exactly what we were loooking for.
