L':ospite si è mostrato da subito super disponibile e gentile. Posizione strategica, colazione buonissima tipica, L'host mi ha consigliato posti tipici e accompagnato con il tuktuk/moto. Super consigliato per un esperienza in natura di relax e per godersi buonissime colazioni

Sehr leckeres Sri Lankisches Frühstück und ein super ruhiger und gemütlicher Balkon mitten im Grünen.

Der Vermieter war sehr interessiert an unserer Tagesplanung und wollte uns alles mögliche, wie Kochkurs oder Tuk-Tuk-Fahrten verkaufen. Die Art war uns zu aufdringlich. Außerdem wurde der zu zahlende Betrag nett aufgerundet.

Very kind hosts. The room ist simple yet it meets all your needs as a traveller. It's cheap and situated nicely in walking distance to the city, but not near a noisy main street. Also the breakfast was delicious!

Cute little homestay for great value! Basic accomodation that didn't include all facilities listed but we loved the gardens and balcony. Breakfast was the best we've had so far in Sri Lanka and the couple running the place were lovely and helpful.

The top room can get quite warm as there's only a wall fan and the mosquito net doesn't quite fit fully over the large bed so we got bitten a lot. Bathroom plumbing was also a bit interesting - the sink tap hose kept popping out.

When arriving I was treated by the host and his family. They were very helpful and knowledgeable of the area and quick to offer help and guidance on what was best to do. They helped me with booking an elephant t tour and the host said he would drive me for a sunrise hike in the morning. The breakfast was great and load of it. I certainly couldn't eat it all on my own. The accomodation is basic but comfortable. The shower was cold but I expected that. The host also helped me book airport transport with his friend who has a private taxi. The location is great. Quite a few restaurants on their road and it's nice and quiet. You can easily wall everywhere from there!

Awesome little spot, the couple running it were so kind and helpful. They woke up at 4am to make sure we got a good sunset view and we came home to the best Sri Lankan breakfast I’ve had. Would recommend if you’re not fussy about cute lizards

The place is in a good location just off main road so the area is quiet (excluding animals at night). The main feature is the nice balcony. There is also a good breakfast served by the wife who is nice. The room was as described, the bathroom smells a little bit but overall is fine. There were some small frogs in the bathroom and in general you have to be okay with some wildlife, bugs etc. You can’t really go out past 9/10pm due to the risk of wild elephants (although I think that’s common around sigiriya).

There’s no WiFi available. We arranged a tuktuk with the owner from Habarana and agreed a set price however we were then charged an extra 300 as “waiting time” as the train was delayed slightly, although first he said it was for petrol. We arranged another tuktuk to sigiriya rock for sunrise however we found out that this price was more expensive than local tuktuk. He was a bit confrontational over payment as he said to pay driver the next morning and although we were here till 12 he complained the driver came twice to get money and we weren’t there. If you want a tuktuk I’d just ask someone on the main road it’ll probably be cheaper and less hassle.
