Peacock's Paradise Safari Hostel

So kind owner, and the room looks amazing, evrything clean and comfortable. And the garfen is amazing! So beautiful watching the fireflies at evening. Thabk you for everything!!

The owners were friendly and very helpful, organising two great safaris for us. The guide was excellent, adapting the safari to our interests, whilst enabling us to see a wide range of wildlife. The home cooked breakfast and evening buffet were delicious and provided a real taste of Sri Lankan food. The resort is in a great location for visiting the national park and provided real value for money.

The very low price of accommodation is fake. If you do not book a safari, you may not even be allowed to stay at the place. This price is included only if you use the safari trip. The total price of the safari can be from 45-60 usd. My room reservation cost $1. Read the reviews carefully because the rules don't mention many things.

Great accommodation! Before our arrival dimuthu was helpful to send offers about safaris, which were on the pricier side, but surely worth it as the other guests told us. Rooms are great, set in nature with huge windows and open air bathrooms. Unique experience! Dinner am breakfast was amazing, with a broad choice of dimuthu mather cookings in a buffet for dinner and local products used in the breakfast. Food was plenty! dimuthu and frend kanchi who own and run the place, are extremely friendly and calm people. . Totally recommend the place!

The place was sureounded by beautiful nature. Nice dining area and we had mosquito net for sleeping

Just be aware that your are in nature and there might be spiders or other animals. But thats just normal in that area.

The owner is very friendly and the room is amazing for the price, net over the bed which was a nice relief from the bugs

It's a shame that at the time of my stay they didn't have Internet but there was a restaurant round the corner I went to for it
