Hostal Azul

Das Hostal liegt zentral gelegen, nur wenige Minuten vom Busterminal entfernt. Die Begrüßung ist sehr herzlich und man bekommt eine kleine Rundführung. Das Hostel bietet alles was man braucht. Saubere Betten (mit Vorhang), Ein kleiner Ventilator und ein Leselicht über dem Bett und ausreichend Steckdosen. Eine abschließbare Gitterbox (groß genug für einen großen Rucksacb) steht unter dem Bett. Es gibt 2 Variation von Frühstück zur Auswahl, zudem gegen Entgelt ein Frühstück mit Eiern etc. Die Hängematten laden im Hostel zum Verweilen ein. Es gibt auch eine sehr gut ausgestatte Küche, die allerdings selten benutzt wird. Mehrmals die Woche werden Aktivitäten angeboten (Sightseeing, Salsa etc). Dazu gibt es Pasta, Taco, Pizza Night, wo man sich zwecks Planung vorher anmelden muss. Das Hostel bietet diverse Exkursionen gegen Entgelt. Achso, und es gibt eine Bettruhe.

Eines der besten organisierten und saubersten Hostels (den länderspezifisch Umstände) in denen ich für diesen Preis war.

The staff were really nice and the hostel is kept clean. I loved the breakfasts and the pool.

I was happy with everything

The hostel is well located and you can walk from there to everywhere in the city. It is in a safe and quieter part of Granada. The hostel is very instagrammable with his pool, hammocks and posh patio. They offer a lot of activities within and outside the hostel, like table tennis, pool, dart and several tours.

When you look beyond the nice fotos, you see some aspects that are not so nice, like the 14 bed deluxe dorm and only two bathrooms for more than 14 people. These were cleaned once a day but, considering number of people who used them, this wasn't enough and they weren't really clean either. Moreover, the dorm was occasionally flooded and slippery, as some people couldn't adjust the curtain well while showering. Compared to some hostels I have been to in Columbia and Chile which had a similar rating and price, Hostal Azul doesn't rate as well in my eyes.

Ich bin sehr begeistert von dem Hostel. Das Personal und die Volunteers waren alle seh zuvorkommend. Der Pool auf der zweiten Seite ist ein kleines Highlight, ebenso wie die Vielzahl der täglichen Aktivitäten.

Clean, modern, nice location, friendly and helpful staff, lot of recommendations and events, good hammocks. They had their own bar too.

I think it's much nicer place to stay for younger people and backpackers, I definitely felt myself too old. Also noisy until 10 pm.

Nice chill area in both houses. AC dorm with curtains on every bed was really nice. Clean pool and very well equipped kitchen. Good prices for tours, really recommend the food tour and indio Viejo evening

Would be nice to turn off the music at the pool, when there are just people reading. Great breakfast options, but for vegan everyday oatmeal when I stayed there (which was still good) The road can get a bit sketchy during the night, just walk fast and with a flash light
