Quiet Boutique Generous Breakfast

It's OK

Breakfast was a "continental " breakfast with delicious, home-made muesli, jam and marmalade. Parking was good, hosts were very welcoming and helpful with advice and recommendation about top spots around Palmerston North. Close access to a clean, modern and easy to access and use, laundromat.

The breakfast was generous and absolutely delicious. It really set me up for each day and it was so tasty and also nutritious.

Honestly, everything was excellent. I really like Doug and Jenny and they were so thoughtful. When I arrived home late they even turned some lights on for security. Lovely bed n breakfast in nice location and next to reserve where could run each morning or afternoon.

As we are two tall people, a larger bed would have been awesome

Convenient access to supermarket (and laundromat), the apartment is very pleasant. Knowledgeable and thoughtful hosts who had good recommendations on local activities. We borrowed the bikes for some time on the cycle paths which was also very pleasant

Apartment can get quite hot in the afternoon (we were there in full summer so this is not surprising, but maybe plan to take your afternoons elsewhere)

While I only met Doug he was super friendly and welcoming. I loved the location as I was traveling with a trailer and could park in a safe street. Breakfast selection was good and homemade biscuits

Just to nitpick. I as used to a high pressure shower. The showers pressure in the unit was not as high as I’m used to
