This is an absolutely lovely place to stay in Palmerston North. It is clean and cozy and has everything you need. I like how it is down the back of the main home, so you feel private and have your own space. We didn't arrive until 4 pm, and the owners had turned the heater on for us. It was warm and cozy and there were homemade biscuits to enjoy with coffee. The breakfast provided was very generous, the muesli is delicious and the homemade marmalade is to die for!!!! The owners are very welcoming and their wee dogs are adorable.

Really clean and tidy. Really helpful hosts and not intrusive. Room really warm and cosy. And great could park my ute close and safely.

I had such a lovely stay at Doug and Jenny's. The place was immaculate and they were such kind and welcoming hosts. The breakfast was delicious and there were so many little thoughtful touches that made my stay extra special. Jenny's baking was delicious and Doug went the extra mile to drop me to my work. I would highly recommend a stay at Quiet Boutique Generous Breakfast.

I did not realize this was a unit at the back of a house. I thought it was a hotel. Big disappointment when I arrived. Also, they should take the "Generous breakfast out of the heading. Homemade muesli and yoghurt IMO is not a generous breakfast.

What a fantastic place to stay! Doug and Jenny (and the dog) were very welcoming, and the accommodation was lovely. Everything was beautifully set up and the breakfast was just as listing suggests - very generous with lots of options. The homemade cookies were a bonus.
