Quiet Boutique Generous Breakfast

Shower tap and products are so high I couldn't reach them. I didn't like staff coming into the room every day when I am out. I would prefer to be asked if that's okay.

This is the second time we have stayed here - loved it the first time and just as good the second time. It is the perfect overnight accommodation for our stays in Palmerston North. friendly owners, very comfortable accommodation with lovely decor, lovely garden setting and delicious and generous breakfast - biscuits were a bonus too. Very generous provisions. Quiet area and easy to book-in and check-out. Highly recommended.

The B & B was set in a beautiful private garden. The room was very tasteful and thoughtfully set out, comfortable, quiet and the hosts very accommodating.

It could be a little too far out of town if you didn’t have transport, but I didn’t explore that option as I had a car.

The unit had everything one would need for an overnight stay. The provided continental breakfast was generous and a nice variety to choose from. Loved the homemade goodies of muesli and cookies. Also loved the little fur babies who came to greet us. I wished they could have stayed in the night with me. 😁 The hosts were very obliging moving their car early in the morning in the shared driveway thank you. ☺️

Not a dislike but an observation. The shower head has an included knob to turn on the water ( no taps) and could be considered a little high if someone was short in stature plus there is a reasonably high step up to get in the cubicle which also isn’t very wide.

Excellent price for a home away from home feel. Hosts are very friendly and service the room daily. A range of options for breakfast provided too.

The owners were very generous and accommodating of our every request, as we were in and out attending a National Hockey tournament which meant very early exits and late homecomings to a warm and cosy environment Advice about the area and facilities was excellent. In all, it was a delightful stay with them and the two small dogs who were so friendly,

There was not anything to dislike

Thank you for accommodating a last minute booking. Nice sized space, clean. Everything needed was available. Breakfast laid out. A really nice space.

It might be helpful for other guests to know: parking is right down the driveway and there is no space to turn around. I didn’t have a problem, but some people may prefer a firmer bed. If you have mobility issues, it might be helpful to know, there is a bit of a step up into the shower.
