the location is super close to everything in Moalboal and the snorkeling right down the road is awesome! staff was also super friendly

sometimes it’s hard to find a staff member, and the room was quite damp, with no racks or hooks to hang things

I loved how accommodating the staff was! Everything was clean and organized, and the staff even offered to drive me back to the terminal when I checked out.

Edgar is the nicest guy and he really tries his best to make you have a great stay. The location is great. Its in the small street behind Smooth Cafe, so right in the center but still quiet. Comfortable bed, there's hot water and AC. It's basic but good value for money.

Edgar was a great host and helped us book a canyoneering tour. The room was good value and location was brilliant ( smooth bar - owned by Edgar - is just on the corner and had very good happy hour deals and food ) drinking water always available.

•Shower was hot but had low pressure •Aircon was effective but very loud so had to weigh if to put it on when we slept •lack of soundproofing so woken up when other guests made breakfast at 6am Note that the address on booking.com is not accurate but locals will know where to take you if you mention smooth bar or name drop Edgar

Location, location location…the wifi was strong.

Basic, very basic…no tv, bed not the most comfortable, towels thin and tattered should have been replaced 12 months ago, kettle and water in community area but no coffee (byo) aircon noisy++ and as for water pressure in the shower…does a slow trickle qualify, much much better value around for the same price in Moalboal

Perfect location. just behind the Main Street so quiet but only a minute to all the bars and restaurants. Snorkelling area is only a few minutes walk. Clean, simple, comfortable rooms. Warm shower. Good wifi & AC. They organised our canyoneering tour which was so fun and also our tricycle to the bus stop. Free water and a kettle to make drinks.

excellent location without the loud noise of being on the main road. The owner went above & beyond to help us with everything from tours to cooking food to transport. best place I’ve stayed in the Philippines.

Enjoyed a wonderful breakfast at Smooth Cafe which is within easy walking distance just 50m away. Fantastic coffee and relaxing atmosphere. Edgar's place is a great base from which to enjoy all the local adventures and is clean, quiet, air conditioned and has Wi-Fi. Lovely welcoming family vibe which is why we often spend time at Edgar's when we're vacationing from home.
