Ratiu House

Loved the location and the history of the place, as well as the materials we could read in the room regarding the family that owns the place. The room itself was spacious and clean. The yard is very nice as well, we enjoyed spending our time there. The breakfast was very good as well & it was served in a very cozy room in the main house. Overall we really enjoyed the atmosphere.

Very nice appointed rooms, clean & comfortable. The linens & towels were of high quality. Location is close to the Turda Salina & Cluj

Parking is a problem. The property has no parking facility. Street Parking is limited & can be expensive.

A hely és az egész természetközeli megközelítés, a rég mult egy kis emléke. Van Patak, asztalok csend és madárcsicsergés. Nagyon jó volt a reggeli, a szállás egy kis labirintus de nagyon kellemes. Elsőre megijedtem mit is választottam de boldogan távoztam másnap reggel.

Hát a parkoló hiánya de egy kis rátermettséggel ezt is megoldották. Nincsen hűtő a szobában.

unique design + concept of the place.

We had one very unpleasant situation, and I would like to mention it. Hotel is door-to-door with the cafe/restaurant (same ownership). When we arrived and checked-in (in the cafe btw), it was before 7pm. We were the only guests at the hotel. After a quick moment we went for a drink + to eat something - the cafe should be open till 8pm. Unfortunatey, the young boy who was working there told us at 7:15 that ... "he has some urgent things to do in the city and is closing the cafe now". Finally - we felt like our presence there was unpleasant for him + we were a problem rather than the guests. Very unprofessional situation. He was working there - and we (the clients) were a problem for him (!) Finally, we bought some food and wine in Carrefour next to. But the attidude that boy showed towards us was totally unprofessional - can not be accepted in any way in hospitality business.
