ROHalf of the property is the location and the view, one of the most amazing in the Azores. Just sit on the terrace in the evening with a glass of wine and you will understand. The house is nicely decorated and very clean.

BEAlice was an amazing host. She washed our clothes, provided me with painkillers when I had fallen ill one day, she made sure everything was clean etc. Every evening we sat on the terrace looking at mount Pico with the sunset. Truly had an amazing time here
The house has a great view, but therefore it a bit further away from the centre. It’s a terribly steep 15 min walk to the coast

Beds are a little bit hard for me
USNice room in upstairs of a house with large bathroom. Can use common area, shared fridge, free coffee & tea with cookies. Friendly host and clean tidy environment. Good ocean view from shared deck. Good wifi and overall stay.
Bed is good but tight for two people. It’s a full size not a queen size bed. Slow hot water but works. Rather steep driveway but manageable.

GBA wonderful, quiet place in a great location. There was a fridge provided in the communal kitchen space, where we could put some provisions, and coffee/tea was provided with a kettle, which was great. The location was good for us - a bit of an uphill walk from the town of Horta, but a great opportunity to enjoy the beautiful view of Pico Mountain. Alice is a really nice person and gave us some very useful advice about the island's taxi services, weather, etc! Our room was nice and big, with a comfortable bed and balcony part where we could get some fresh air and views of Pico and the surrounding area.
Our only slight issue was the mosquitoes, but Alice had provided a repellent which we used, it helped. Also the fact that there isn't a clear pavement on the roads going from the town uphill to the house. However, this is a general feature of the island as a whole, nothing to do with this location!
