RC Rooms

- location is very good, almost all main spots avaiable by foot, - nice decorations, very cosy and well organized room, - daily cleaning, super comfortable bed, big towels, - easy check-in, avaiable also during the night - a lot of nice cafes for breakfast around

- during our stay it was very noisy and loud till midnight, so could be a problem if someone wants to go sleep early or rest

Excellent location, amazing decoration! It was the best choice we could make! I really loved it! The owner has a great taste in decorating and the place was unique and absolutely stunning. If you are looking for alternative accommodation, RC rooms won't disappoint you at all! Everything was perfect!

It was sooo charming! Arriving to the room was a real wow experience after a somewhat weird check-in process, and walking up a bunch of stairs in a room full of mirrors. It exceeded all our expectations with a beautiful little balcony overlooking the garden, and a really unique interior. The bathroom was surprisingly modern.

As mentioned, the check-in was not really straightforward. Walking into the tea house (as per instructions) and no one really acknowledged us. After a while we had to half shout into the kitchen and ask about “RC rooms”, and even then they seemed a bit confused as to what we wanted. Finally they called for a women who helped us. The place is lacking an AC, and we were missing it badly since we arrived on a day with 34 degrees. In more moderate temperatures I imagine it would be fine!

Really nice place to stay

It was something really different I was used to...many antiquity objects, paintings and furnishure, reminding of the good old times. They also serve very good food, there is a nice court in the back. It was a quite an interesting experience!

This apartment and all the rooms are absolutely huge. And the interior is filled with amazing antique and curiosity. Awesome and super fast responding host. The location is walking distance from the city center and there is a supermarket in the same street (perfect for a cheap breakfast). Self check-in was super easy for us arriving in Porto at midnight.

With the building being more then a few hundred years old it's of course not very soundproof and unfortunately with an outdoor bar / club next made sleeping very difficult on one side of the apartment. My daughter ended up dragging the bed to the living room and slept there.
