Staff are very welcoming Loved my room, very spacious and lovely balconies overlooking the square. Easy to get everywhere There’s a cafe underneath which is a bonus

Very clean and generally safe, the room had a pretty balcony which overlooked the cafe and bustling Medina below. The rooms have AC and Wi-Fi, which is a plus. The breakfast was consistent, fresh and adequate with a platter of bread, croissants, spreads (cheese, jam and butter) and a hard boiled egg, orange juice and coffee.

Although central to the Medina, the noise levels at night were almost impossible to overlook. There is no sound isolation from the old wooden windows, so the public agitation below was pretty audible, from the people conversing on the streets to the garbage disposal team at 1AM collecting the trash, to the occasional rift between dwellers… Also the mattress was almost as solid as the floor, which was kind of discomforting and the shower head was broken, making the bath experience a bit of a lackluster experience, with no water pressure.

NOISE NOISE NOISE THE street in front of our room was a corner and people congregated there every night from around 11 pm till 5 am in the morning when the imam called to,prayer, the hotel staff did nothing to try and stop them, resulting in sleepless nights in fact last night there I slept a total of 1.5 hours not acceptable, they also play soccer until 5 am grown men, disgusting. Also 2 people staying one towel, smell in bathrooms and watch out for room 7 no room for a suitcase and you need to climb over the bed to get in and out!!! In bar downstairs smoking continually hashish which was very uncomfortable when you want to just sit on terrace and people watch and listen to street music, wouldn’t stay again even though the location is superb!
