Location, location, location. Short walk to any of the beaches, right across the street from the bus station and the supermarket. Also two excellent taquerias down the street that I’d highly recommend checking out. Magnolia was a fantastic host, offered us great recommendations on places to eat and was always available at a moment’s notice via whatsapp when we had any needs outside of regular hours. Our room was also cleaned daily, which we didn’t expect, having left a huge mess on the first day after rushing to get ready and out the door to a wedding. They neatly organized all of our belongings and impeccably cleaned the room, which was so nice to return to after a long night (though a bit embarrassing on our part!) Truly above and beyond. 10/10 highly recommend, and you can’t beat the value either

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay- Casa Sixta is perfectly located close to local restaurants, beaches, a big supermarket and the ADO bus station. More importantly, the host, Magnolia, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The room is cleaned every day, which is a real plus, and has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Thank you very much Magnolia!

Close to the bus station, area is quiet. The place is clean and has everything you need like kitchen and free water.

There was not much of a social vibe when I was there. also the room I was in was connected to another room, and the people there needed to pass through my room to go to the bathroom which is kind of annoying.

We stayed ten nights in October. The room was large and clean. I also loved having a smart TV so I could watch my shows to fall asleep each night. Plenty of hot water, although the weather had us enjoying cold showers instead. The AC worked well enough to help us escape the heat and the ceiling fan helped. The host and the rest of the staff was very helpful and friendly. We also enjoyed the outdoor hanging space, but make sure to wear bug spray out there! We also enjoyed the local restaurants and being away from the zicatela party scene. Thanks to the housekeeper for tidying up each day while we were at the beach, and supplying fresh linens and towels every other day! That was a nice surprise.

Only complaint was the firm bed, but some people like firm beds so it's not really anything a host can help in this situation. It was a new, clean mattress and they lent us extra pillows for our stay.

Best room I've stayed in Mexico. The lady is super friendly and very helpful.

Magnolia was a superb host, always making sure we were comfortable. She also allowed us to hang out in the common area after checkout to wait for our evening bus. The room we got was very spacious, and nicely decorated in a minimalist way. Excellent water pressure in the bathroom room. There was a small shared kitchen that we could use to prepare our own meals, and the Chedraui supermarket was just a short walk away (beside the ADO bus station). This was perfect for us—to prepare our own meals after gorging a bit in Oaxaca City. The location of the accommodation was great. Short walk from the ADO bus station and Chedraui supermarket, and it wasn't too hard to walk to the various beaches too.
