Our hostess was great, quiet location, close to ADO bus station, nice outdoor seating space and clean well equipped communal kitchen.

Not the fault of the hotel but the city is too hot and humid. Had to sleep with AC on all night.

We were stopping in Puerto Escondido for about 24 hours to do a whale/dolphin tour and check out the town before exploring further down the coast. Casa Sixta was in an ideal location, on a quiet residential street super close to the bus station, beaches and centro. The rooms were super clean and recently refurbished, with a very comfy bed, tv, AC, etc. Would recommend to anyone looking for a long or short stay in the town.

Our favorite stay in all of Mexico and we traveled for a whole month. Magnolia and Luis were lovely throughout the stay. The room was squeaky clean, air-conditioned, dry, hot showers, there were furnitures in the room to hang clothes, shelves, desk and chair, mats on either sides of the bed etc. There was so much attention to details that made this place so comfortable. Very close to the bus station as well and lots of great recommendation from the host for eateries and beaches. We aren't party people so really enjoyed the quiet nights & tranquil mornings here. There's a full kitchen if you prefer to cook.

Everything! Super clean, new accommodation. Great bed and shower. Perfect location, quiet but close to downtown and beaches. Magnolia is a very attentive and helpful host. We would have stayed longer if the room would have been available.

Excellent location very close to the ADO bus station and airport. Also walkable to stunning beaches in Puerto Escondido. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The room was a good size, shower was warm and had great temperature. Very clean. The blackout blinds and curtains made sleeping in a breeze. There's also a shared kitchen. Highly recommend Casa Sixta.

A very comfortable little place, family run with only two rooms, a shady courtyard and use of a kitchen. Casa Sixta provided a perfect place for a night before we caught the bus to Oaxaca. Magnolia and her family were very welcoming and let us store our bags there while we had breakfast. The rooms are very clean, modern and quiet we had a good nights' sleep. Lots of restaurants in the near vicinity and a short walk to several beaches.

Casa Sixta is a very unique hostel in Puerto Escondido. I wanted to be there for a day on my way to manzunte and ended up staying 5 days, as it was such a warm vibe there. Can only recommend. Also, the dorm room is actually two rooms. Each has two beds, which really creates a comfortable vibe.

The location was great, you can access all the beachs by 5min car, or easy access to collectivo. The room was deep cleaned every day which is really appreciable. The personnal was TOP ! Thanks again for everything !
