BEACH LIFE UPPUVELI

Location was great, very close to the beach. The room was clean and bed comfortable.

The main problem in the room with fan was the room temperature. The building heats up to an unbearable temperature. Even at night, when it’s nice and balmy outside, the room is at least +5 C warmer. It was very hard to sleep, therefore, I stayed for 2 nights instead of 3. They make you pay for the stay upfront, (which never happens to me in Sri Lanka) probably because people keep leaving earlier. I never use AC rooms, I’m usually fine with just the fan, but over there even with two fans I almost didn’t sleep for two nights. I’d wake up dehydrated, my phone would heat up to scorching temperatures while charging. The owners, that btw are never there, don’t realise how harmful it is to offer such accommodation to people. Don’t stay in the rooms with fan.

Wery clean und komfortable Room with very good Bathroom and Chair to sit outside in front of the Door. Only 100 Meter to walk to the Beach. Maintown Trincomalle is around 4-5 KM away

It’s a good experience. The hotel located at seaside. And the boss is so nice .closed to a Hindu temple.

The room was clean, owner helpful, place a short walk to a beach, shower was great. Cute cats and dogs around.

It is not straight forward to find food and supplies in the area but after a few days it becomes easier. Overpriced restaurants due to tourism, but local food is available if one looks for that.
