Carnarvon House

Good location, within easy walk of the street art trail, shops and restaurants. We had a quiet room on the ground floor with a private bathroom. It was clean and comfortable. Useful tourist maps available for free in the communal area.

Kleinen offenen Bereich und Küche, in der jederzeit Kaffee, Tee und Kekse bereitstehen. Das Zimmer war ruhig.

Leider entsprach unser Aufenthalt nicht den Erwartungen. Die Fotos zeigen hauptsächlich das charmante Heritage-Haus, wir wurden jedoch ohne vorherigen Hinweis im modernen Nachbargebäude untergebracht, das deutlich einfacher und weniger atmosphärisch war. Zudem durften wir die Heritage-Gemeinschaftsbereiche nicht nutzen (konträr zu den eigentliche Booking Beschreibung), da diese privat gebucht waren – ein Hinweis darauf fehlte vollständig vor Ankunft. Ein 10 minutigen "Einblick" wurde uns bei Eva gewährt. Statt des angekündigten Gartens und Stadtblicks hatten wir ein eher karges Umfeld, was besonders an Weihnachten enttäuschend war.

Beautiful old mansion. Location was great. Hosts were helpful. Fan and air conditioning available in room.

Shared bathroom area. It was clean, but there were only two toilets and it was wet in there from all the shower water.
