Pensiunea Subcetate Deva

The villa is exactly in the old city and under the Citadel. The owner and his wife were very very friendly and we felt like home at their place. Is a cozy place with beautiful garden, close to the restaurants and bakeries and bars in the old city.

The room was reasonably large in size, everything was generally clean. The parking space was very appreciated. Location is not too far from the town center, it was easy to walk there. Although the owner was not very fluent in either English or German, we managed to communicate with him and he was very friendly.

The shower cabin was somewhat worn down. The toilet in our bathroom was also a bit loose on the ground, this is something that really should get fixed.

Location, clean and friendly owner

Nice hosts and the Name oft the Pension is really well chosen because it sits directly at the hillside oft the castle. The paths going up to the castle begin around 200m away Form the property.

The walls oft the whole building are absolutely not soundproof. You can hear any sound Form the other rooms.

The hosts are wonderful people, friendly and generous, the garden is beautiful and the parking facility is adequate. Very close to the city centre and a green park.

The rooms and bathrooms are in desperate need of modernising, the decor is very old, everything looked unclean and tatty and the musty smell was unbearable.
