O pensiune interesanta, detinuta de o familie de sasi-germani. Camera noastra era in fosta scoala, in mansarda. Camera rustica, frumoasa, insa mobila, veche si reconditionata, contrasta puternic cu niste tablouri stilizate moderniste, cu culori tipatoare. Acelasi contrast in toata pensiunea. Micul dejun destul de bun. Punctul de atractie il reprezenta biblioteca, foarte frumoasa.

Patul foarte inconfortabil. Salteaua uzata, cu arcuri sarite, exagerat de elastica. La prima asezare patului i-au sarit niste sipci. Gazda, un german venit din Germania si stabilit in Romania, caruia se pare ca afacerile ii merg foarte bine aici, ne-a spus niste lucruri din istoria romanilor care ne-au suparat foarte tare. In orice caz, pretul nu reflecta calitatea.

Naturalna okolica, wiejskie klimaty.

Gorąco w nocy. Niestety brak klimatyzacji. Ale to wiosek na następny raz.

The dinner was very tasty, worth to try.

The only waitress was overwhelmed so the service was quite slow. The breakfast was traditional, not many healthy options offered. The mattress was very hard, not too comfy.

Die Lage und die Ruhe sind erholsam.Das engagierte Gastgeber- Paar verdient alle Ehre und Dank für ihre besondere kulturelle Arbeit in Kleinschenk und an der Kirchenburg. Alles wird authentisch und der sächsischen(rumäniendeutschen) Tradition verpflichtend bewahrt. Die Klarheit und Schönheit des Designs lässt die Seele aufatmen. Das Essen ist hoher Standard, fein gepaart mit traditionellen Elementen.

The host was wonderful, showing us around the fortified church and talking about the history of the village and Transylvania . The restaurant had delicious food, and the accomodation was very comfortable and spacious.

The atmosphere and the food were excellent. We appreciated the calm of the place even if we booked a night in a rather busy weekend.

There were a number of problems with the loft my friend and I had booked: - bed base was broken. Had to sleep in a certain position so as not to fall through - the hairdrier was as loud as a tractor and didn't do much of its job - looked forward to having a bath after a long day of biking. Had the surprise that the plug was not holding the water at all All these issues would be easy to fix but what bothered me was the attitude of the staff. When I pointed out the plug issue I didn't as much as get a 'we're sorry about that' and it was I who suggested solutions for the problem but with no resolutions. This feeling of not being cared for was felt from the start when it felt like we were bothering the staff to be checked-in at arrival. A warmer attitude would have made a lot of difference to the whole experience
