HS Beach House Phu Quoc Island

Der Ausblick war wie versprochen. Das junge Mädchen, dass uns empfangen hatte war sehr nett, konnte aber kein Englisch. Kommunikation erfolgte über Whats App. Ebenfalls wurde für uns ein Flughafentransfer für 200.000 VND organisiert was auch gut geklappt hatte.

Ich würde zu 100% von einer Buchung abraten & diesen Ort nie wieder besuchen. Nach einigen schlechten Rezensionen wollten wir noch stornieren, aber leider waren wir zu spät und mussten schon den vollen Betrag bezahlen. Wir haben uns dann die Unterkunft angesehen und was soll ich sagen… Leider muss ich den schlechten Rezensionen (viele auf Google) zustimmen. Der Fischgeruch hielt sich bei uns in Grenzen und der Ausblick aus dem Zimmer war grundsätzlich schön. Jedoch sah das Zimmer furchtbar und massiv in die Jahre gekommen aus und hat unserer Meinung nach nichts mit dem hier angebotenen Zimmer zu tun. Wir waren etwa 1 1/2 Stunden dort und sind nun wieder abgereist und haben dort nicht mal übernachtet. Man kann das Zimmer nicht richtig absperren, überall im Zimmer Mücken, der Strand war teilweise voll mit Müll (was ich persönlich nicht so schlimm finde), im Zimmer waren auch Ameisen und die Badezimmertür war sehr dreckig. Die Toilette an sich war geputzt, aber „ranzig“, im Bad waren auch viele Mücken, die „Pflanzen“ waren ein Teppich aus Plastik am Boden im Bad, das Badezimmer hatte auch ein Dach und war nicht wie im Bild „frei“. An der Decke im Bad und an einer anderen Wand war schon angehender Schimmel zu sehen. Alle Spiegel und Fenster waren verschliert oder auch gar nicht geputzt. Die Badewanne war aussen auch total dreckig. Die Wände waren ramponiert/dreckig, und in den Ecken sehr dunkel. In der Nähe der Küche hat es sehr unangenehm gerochen. Matratzen waren ebenfalls sehr unbequem beim draufsetzen. Allgemein die Möbel waren alle sehr runtergekommen & ramponiert. Ich hoffe, dass ich mein Geld wiederbekomme. Ebenfalls hat uns der Grab-Fahrer nicht vor Ort abholen können (Gasse ist sehr eng) und wir sind dann mit dem Gepäck an die Hauptstraße gegangen. Das geht, aber natürlich ist es angenehmer mit Koffern direkt abgeholt zu werden.

Domácí byla velmi vstřícná. Pomohla nám vyřídit vše co jsme chtěli( pronájem skútru, masáž, dopravu z letiště a do dalšího ubytování). Komunikace probíhala přes whats up, angličtina není její silná stránka.

Nam to miejsce bardzo się podobało, ale myślę, że nie jest dla każdego. Jeśli szukasz luksusu i pięknej okolicy, to miejsce może nie jest dla Ciebie, ale jeśli chcesz spać w lokalnym miejscu, otoczony prawdziwym Wietnamem - śmiało! Domek ładny, czysty, nie brakowało nam tam niczego. Widok z dużego okna na plażę i morze - piękny, ale plaża rzeczywiście jest dość zaniedbana i sporo tam śmieci. Mimo wszystko, macie jednak swoją własną plażę :) To rząd 3 mieszkanek pod wynajmem, poza tym dokoła sami lokalni. Do głównej ulicy idzie się wąską drużką, gdzie bawią sie dzieci i można poobserwować ich codzienne życie. Blisko spory i dobrze zaopatrzony market. Miejsce troche oddalone od głównych atracji, ale można tanio dojechać grabem. Poza tym przemiła dziewczyna, która się tam nami opiekowała, dbała o to, żeby nic nam nie brakowało. Można wynająć skuter od nich. W czasie pobytu trafiliśmy na ogólną awarię prądu przez co mieliśmy przerwy w dostawie prądu (to chyba nie jest tam normą, to była spora awaria na całym Phu Quoc i mieliśmy pecha) i od razu zaproponowano nam za to zniżkę na wynajem.

Przydałoby się posprzątać trochę teren dookoła i byłby raj :)

I had the worst experience ever. There was no electricity at all, and they had no backup power or any information about when it would return. Because of this, there was no hot water in the bathroom, and none of the facilities worked since everything depends on electricity. The area is not safe or convenient — even taxis refused to drop me off or pick me up from the property. On top of that, the place had a lot of mosquitos, making the stay even more uncomfortable. The only person available at the property was a young girl who couldn’t speak English and was unable to make any decisions or help in any situation. Overall, this was a terrible experience and I strongly recommend not booking this property.

The place was as expected, lovely beach house in the suburbs that provided good space for the accommodation, the hosts were very welcoming and friendly, and very helpful with renting a scooter and taxi, I didnt spend too much time in the beach house due to commitments with friends. The day bed was very comfortable and so was the bedroom.

There were quite a few blackouts with the electricity not available, this meant no aircon, no wifi, and shower would be with no hot water, the hosts offered compensation, but this soured the stay when it happened many times. This messed up quite a lot of my plans and the electricity outage only affected certain areas, which meant some of the resort areas still had power and I had to go to friend's places for the timebeing. The location is hard to get to and as cars can barely fit the access road. The place needs quite a lot of upkeep, though it presents well, the hole in the bathroom was worrying along with the fake shrubbery, and all day and night it sounds like its raining when inside - I am not sure if this is the airconditioners or something else. I think maintenance is required to bring this place upto a better standard like getting rid of cobwebs and painting rusted places, installing a proper shower glass etc, I dont think its of good value at its current price compared with hotel stays. The family that hosts the place was one of the nice things about the experience they were very helpful and attentive that made the stay better, however I did find they entered the place without seeking permission to retrieve a light they provided during blackout which I found very surprising and not in line with standards as this can lead to theft of items.

The house is located in the village next to main city. You have you private beach with beautiful view with fishing boats. Apart amber is really comfortable.

The beach could be cleaner.
