Apartament's Veiga Areeiro

The host was extremely nice and attentive to our needs. There was an amazing kitchen, bathroom and a balcony. The place is very clean and the location is very central - within walking distance to the metro and some bus stops.

We had some difficulties getting through the apartment's door but you get the hang of it eventually.

Clean place and comfortable bed. There were a lot of utilities. We did not use them but it was good to have the option. The external area was nice. Furthermore, the shower was really good.

The room we got (MAR) only had one internal window, that opens up to the kitchen/Corridor. That made the room a bit stuffy and cramped. The internal lighting helped a lot but still. If you need a window to feel comfortable the other rooms would be better.

It had charm. Instructions along with a video were texted through once we arrived. Very friendly.

There was no sign of the Apartment. The smell as you came through the main entrance and the smell throughout the apartment was rather foul. (We noticed there were many plugin diffusers). The one room didn’t have a window and it felt stuffy. No sound proofing so could hear every door being opened and closed etc. The bedding was comfortable but the pillows were inconsistent, one hard and one soft.

Great location near many metro stations and Complexo Desportivo, great value for the price, the owners are lovely people, everything was awesome!

We stayed for just one night and it was perfect for the price. The room was actually very spacious, which was a nice surprise. While the bathroom is small, it was more than enough for our needs and very clean. The host sent us clear instructions for entry, which made everything super easy. You do share the common areas like the kitchen with other guests, so you might hear them here and there, but it didn’t bother us at all. Great value overall
