"Eine wunderschöne Perle"

Diese Exzellente Unterkunft war ein Highlight auf unserer Portugalrundreise. Eine alte Villa, fast schon ein kleines Schloss, lädt zum Verweilen ein. Wir waren einen Tag hier und würden es jederzeit wieder wählen. Das Personal war nicht nur sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit - man hat gespürt, wie sehr sie es selbst genießen in diesem Ambiente zu arbeiten. Die Ausstattung fesselt - man braucht eine Weile um dieses grandiose Flair zu erkunden und alle allgemeinen Räume auf sich wirken zu lassen. Der Pool ist eine gepflegte Ruheoase, die zum Entspannen einlädt. Die Zimmer hell und gepflegt, das Frühstück sehr schmackhaft, regional und reichlich.

Travassos 11 liegt in einem kleinem alten Städtchen welches sich nicht um Tourismus kümmert und darum auch nicht bemüht zu sein scheint. Dies sollte man bei der Buchung einplanen, aber wer in der Nähe ist, Kunst und schöne alte Villen schätzt, der sollte sich nicht von der eventuell eingeschränkten Ortschaft abschrecken lassen. Einen Nachmittag zum Schlendern und Schauen bietet Elvas aber auch. In Elvas selbst hat die Villa eine sehr zentrale und schöne Lage.
