Encanto do Sol

The house was extremely spacious with a very well equipped kitchen. The views from the balcony were beautiful. There was a supermarket nearby to buy provisions and a restaurant within walking distance, up the hill, which served well priced local food. The owners provided a bottle of wine, fruit and water upon our arrival and a home made cake when we departed. The wifi wasn't working when we arrived and the owners called an engineer to sort out the problem very quickly.

Beautiful, calm place with garden full of banana trees, we were allowed to eat grapes and fresh eggs from hens 🙂...amazing view from terrace. There were always free place for parking on the street. Very kind and helpful owners. Perfectly equiped kitchen and all apartment.

Amazing location, beautiful apartment, well-stocked with all necessities, and the most kind and friendly hosts - Càtia and Juan.

Juan our host was very welcoming and helpful and made us feel at home. The property is exactly as shown in the pictures. The location perched high on a hill overlooking the ocean was idyllic. Garden area was very peaceful, surrounded by banana and fruit trees. Fresh eggs for breakfast from the chicken coop was a nice bonus. We had the one bedroom apartment. The rooms were clean, bed was comfortable and shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Parking available on street or in small lot a minute walk away. Nice restaurant Dos Amigos is a 8-10 minute walk. If you want to walk to town it’s a 10 minute steep walk down but a difficult walk coming back uphill suggest to drive if your seniors. Overall a fantastic stay and we were so happy to have booked this lovely property.

Everything was amazing! The host, the house, the city and that garden (with banana trees, vegetable, fruits, palms, sooo many flowers) and the view, everything was perfect!

Endless kind hospitality: Catia and Juan are very sweet people. We were welcomed with chilled water, a bottle of red wine and a huge fruit bowl. And the farewell was made memorable with a delicious cake. Unforgettable view, large terrace with jacuzzi and deckchairs. Quiet environment. The beach and shopping are a few minutes away. A quiet little town, almost always with sunshine and wonderful sunsets. An excellent dinner with sundowners at the Sol Poente restaurant. The apartment is excellently equipped with everything, including a comfortable double bed. Kitchen is perfect. The price-value ratio is excellent.

Very comfortable, spacious, fully equipped, clean house with wonderful views over Ponta do Sol. Amazing hosts. Fruits and vegetables straight from the garden. Big terrace. Walking distance to the beach and town. The best place!!!
