Ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid en lekker! Ook als je vroeg wou ontbijten, bijvoorbeeld om 5h in de ochtend, stond het onbijt al klaar. De familie is zeer vriendelijk en je kan hen ook alles vragen omtrent tips en vervoer.

Alles was tiptop in orde geen enkel werkpunt!

Everything was great.. absolutely everything! First of all it was the cleanest room of all the ones we stayed in. Everything around us was spotless and pleasantly scented. The family who owns the property is so warm and friendly. Breakfast was different every morning and the area is wonderfully quiet.Ypu definitely won't regret it

La posizione è ottima per visitare la città ma lontana dai templi e dai luoghi di reale interesse per la zona.

Accoglienza familiare genuina e sincera. Ci hanno aiutato nell’organizzazione del viaggio, prenotato tuk tuk fidati. Poi abbiamo approfittato della cena cucinata per noi dalla signora. Un ottimo Rice and curry. Ve la consiglio.

Pawana Rest is an oasis of tranquility, perfect for chilling and unwinding after a long trip or after a day of exploring the many attractions around Dambulla. This small but charming homestay is very well managed and the whole family works as a perfect team making sure that guests’ needs and requests are promptly met. Our room was spotless, big enough, with a very comfortable bed and a basic but modern and functional bathroom. The food – traditional Sri Lankan one, adapted to our spice tolerance level - cooked by Nuwan (currently training to become a chef) and his mother was hands down the best (quality and presentation) we had during our 1 month tour of Sri Lanka. This family’s wonderful hospitality will make your stay in the Sri Lankan countryside a bliss. Highly recommend.

Beautiful room and very accommodating host. Great meals.

No air conditioning. This was clearly listed when we booked, but we assumed it would be cooler in Dambulla than was (it's NOT in the hill country). We did have a big quiet fan, and it does cool off at night, so sleeping was OK.

Quiet and secluded with beautiful garden.

No A/C, however, mosquito netting and great fans.

All perfect! Clean, nice.. Food was very delicious
