The host was friendly. The place was clean and the location is very convenient. There is a bus stop near the guesthouse where you can take the bus to go to places like Kek Lok Si, Penang Hill, etc. Overall it’s a nice experience staying here.

The staff here, special mention to Stan, were so helpful and welcoming. He gave so many recommendations! It really helps to make a place feel like home when this is the case. The property is in a good location too.

The bathrooms/showers/communal kitchen area could have perhaps been a little cleaner.

Great location, great staff. I felt so comfortable. When I arrived I got a map and an awesome explanation about the busses, sightseeings, night markets, where to eat etc. Would book again.

I left after one night due to the state of the bathrooms. The toilets were pretty filthy and had poop stains and there was no toilet paper or hand soap. The guy at the front desk was nice, and I understand it’s a budget accommodation, but I was expecting it to be clean based off the reviews. Just wanted to write this to warn other travelers. The owner was nice and apologetic when I told him I was going to leave early, but honestly you can stay in much cleaner places in Georgetown if you’re willing to pay a bit more money.

The location is good and central. The room size was pretty good.

The hygene of the place is not very good. The shared toilets in the ground floor are a disaster. The bed covers and towels are not washed very well, as I spotted some stains on them. The overall atmosphere of the place is pretty bad.

most of their rooms look like a jail, with no windows and just a small bed in a corner. fortunately they gave me an "upgrade" with a small window and shower in room. location is great

The room has the bare minimum. The shower was full of hair.
