Wooden Hut Koh Kood

The garden is amazing. The terraces in the rooms are cozy and with an amazing view to the garden or jungle. The location is very good, there are few amazing beaches nearby, groceries, few restaurants, even massage salons. In a hotel you can rent a motorbike. It's the perfect way to explore the island. Also the food in the restaurant was good. Good value for money.

Same terrace sharable with neighbors. You can hear every word. But earplugs should help for sleep. As I made a mistake and booked a room without AC it was difficult to be in the room or terrace, especially during the hot season. The fan helps, but not too much. So I would recommend to take AC room if possible. Also there is not much space for belongings. Just one shelf.

This place is simply beautiful. So tranquil swinging away on the hammock with nothing but bird song and other hidden creature noises lol. It’s gorgeous. Food in the restaurant is also lovely. Staff good 👍🏽

So obviously this is a basic hut. I knew what to expect. But if you’ve not stayed in this kind of accommodation before, you might find it a little ‘raw’. You have to be ok with hot sweaty nights, the fan does little to alleviate that. Bugs etc WILL be in your room. And a word of warning about Koh Kood… it’s hilly! And there is no main town. Everything is dotted about. The nearest beach to wooden hut is a good 20/25 min walk. And it’s steep!!! And not an amazing beach. A much better one is Ao Jark bay. So beautiful with a great cafe open all day. But get a scooter! That’s a 45 min hike up and down all the way. There’s also no taxis etc. you can ask for a songteuw to come get you, but at a premium cost. I say again… rent a scooter 😁

Rooms and terraces really close to neighbours. If you get a loud onesyou are gonna suffer.

It's a nice bar/restaurant, and he has a lovely tropical garden. He also was very kind, taking me to see sunset and picking me up. 😊

Probably the best accommodation during our vacation in Thailand. The owner and all the staff were great, helpful and easy to communicate with, they surely made us feel like we were at home and tried to help us when needed. There is also a restaurant with amazing food, large portions and very good prices. Plenty of options as well. They also provide towels/snorkeling gear for your everyday beach needs. The whole design was great, like you are in a big garden next to the jungle, everything was clean and well maintained. The rooms had a big bathroom, a great terrace with a hammock in order to relax and a comfortable big bed surrounded by a mosquito net so you wouldn't have to worry about insects. We will surely visit them again next time we come to koh kood. Kap khun ka 🙏

The best place to be as part of the atmosphere (in the bungallow and in the restaurant), the quality of the food, and the kindness of the hosts.

Nothing. But wifi could be maybe improved in the room. But it s good wifi in restaurant .
