Comfortable, Warm, lovely peaceful location

Beautiful cottage, good for an overnight stay for a family of four. Gorgeous bathroom, and well appointed. The fresh bread, coffee, honey, jam and snacks were delicious! The owner was lovely and the property is beautiful and perfect location to town and Hobbiton.

It was a bit chilly!

Beautiful rooms and surroundings. Our host was super friendly and a delight to talk to. Anyone running a BnB should visit to see how to do it! Brilliant retreat for a few days.

Having to leave....

Lovely location still close to town. Room was beautiful and clean, we didn't need to use the kitchen much but it had everything you needed if you wanted to cook something up. The little extras in the ciboards like kids books, ironing board etc made it more like home. The fruit trees outside were very yum. Denise is a lovely host and she recommended a good cafe for breakfast and a few shops to see. If we needed naything she was there, thank you so much!

We're from the Hawke's Bay and not use to the cold, maybe a heater in the second room and bathroom would have made it more comfortable but other than that, it was a delightful stay.

The massive bath was amazing! All of the furniture and linen were clearly very good quality, and the beds were so comfortable.

The kitchen was a little small but we had everything we needed.
