Cabins on Tudor bed & breakfast

Nice having some outdoor living space in a pretty and laid back garden area, and very comfortable beds.

Bugs at night - when outdoors - were a little more friendly than we would prefer but overall a wonderful space.

Es ist eine besondere Location mit viel Liebe zu den kleinen Dingen, die Gastgeberin ist äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit, und es gibt einen sehr lieben aber teilweise ungestümen (verspielten) Hund namens George

Bei dem Frühstück haben Wurst und Käse gefehlt, aber sonst sehr gut

The lodgings were really characterful, comfy and peaceful.

L'accueil Leigh et de Georges (et Arthur) ainsi que le confort de la cabine ont rendu notre séjours exceptionnel! Nous étions en pleine nature même si nous étions en plein milieu de la ville! Vous pouvez manger votre dîner dehors en admirant le jardin et en écoutant les nombreux oiseaux. C'est un petit paradis bien dissimulé 😎

Absolutely loved the setting and ambiance of the place. Everything was exceedingly well appointed. It is quite unique, filled with interesting objects of decor.

Charming! The hostess made me feel so very welcome and was wonderful about checking in to make sure I had everything I needed; so kind and caring. The house and the tiny cabins on the property are lovely, private, very cozy, and filled with fun little treasures sprinkled throughout. I loved the a la carte breakfast setup! It was such a fun patio kitchenette for all the guests to gather and share their travel stories of this incredible country. The property is very close to Abel Tasman National Park. I recommend renting an e-bike and riding the Great Taste Trail in either direction. My only complaint is that I spent more time relaxing at the property than doing all the sightseeing I planned. There are just so many lovely little vignettes around the property, which is surrounded by gorgeous landscaping, and oh, there’s even a she-shed …bring a good book, just in case you want to do the same :o))

The garden setting of the 'cabins' or 'sheds' is beautiful.

I booked a 'double room' but we were allocated the very small twin 'garden shed' upon our arrival. Not only was the separate bathroom shared but it was an exterior building a short distance through the garden. It was not fun walking there during the night when it was raining!! For our 2nd & 3rd nights we were moved to a larger double cabin which was closer to the bathroom, across the deck. Breakfast was self-serve on a verandah & did not provide any more than what we were carrying with us, having stayed in motels eg pieces of fruit, cereal, toast & boiled eggs. There was no tea & coffee here but at an external, rustic 'kitchen' facility. Again, not good when it was raining.
