Proximity to the other apartment and lack of privacy in terms of being able to hear the other apartment

The apartment was tastefully styled and well equipped, and the view is lovely at all times of the day. The bed is comfortable and the blinds keep the light out in the mornings, so you get a good night’s sleep. It’s only a short drive into Oneroa, where there are several good restaurants and a couple of cafes. The lights in the kitchen area weren’t working on our arrival, so we called the number in the information book and they sent someone out the next morning. As it turned out both globes had blown and the property owner came and replaced them for us.

The sofa is really uncomfortable - feather cushions, that have flattened, on a hard wicker base and so deep that you can’t lean back comfortably on the cushions on the back. So whilst it looks lovely, it is really uncomfortable to sit on (which is kind of the point of a sofa). There are spare pillows and cushions, which we used to sit on and to put behind us, but each time you get up and come back you have to reposition them to get comfortable again.

The views were beautiful and the property was very peaceful. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Amazing view, and wonderful place to stay. We had a great time there and even had our BBQ dinner there. Highly recommend.

Private, comfortable, lovely amenities

Nothing really, the hill was steep and a bit warm on the walk up with our bags but it was short and worth it
