Like A Local

We loved out stay. Very cosy place a stone's throw from the heart of Nimman area with its cafes, bars, shops and etc. Nice view of the mountains!

While the main windows have blackout curtains, the light still comes through the bathroom window and the glass door, which might disturb those who are light-sensitive.

It was nice and felt safe. The place was really clean and the owners were really really lovely. The pool was an additional bonus!

Location is good but must note it was a little bit outside of the old town so you had to get grab / taxi everywhere so I would recommend staying in old town if you want to walk about abit more. The place is a little more rundown than the images and no seating on the balcony.

The location is great, nice pool area and very spacious room and bathroom. The bed is hudge and comfortable. The fridge was full of drinking water and some snacks. Receptionist is helpful and kind.

It took me one hour to find the guest house as it takes a place in the aparthotel which has different name. I was going round and round with my suitcases asking locals for a help, but no one knew a place called Like a local. The thing what I really didnt like is cleaness. They have to make a proper cleaning.

We really liked the location of the hotel, making everything in Nimman accessible by foot. The staff/owners of the hotel were super friendly. Extra add on was the pool!

Very clean hotel with all the necessary amenities, including a much-appreciated separation between the toilet and shower (which many places don’t have)! It also has access to a pool. Our room had a beautiful mountain view, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There’s also an on-site café, and a nice bonus was the free daily coffee and macaron included with our stay—a pleasant surprise!

The location is nice, but there’s no soundproofing. Planes fly close and frequently, and are quite loud. Our room’s balcony faced a car park, which turns into a market some evenings, with loud music playing until at least 9-11 PM—not ideal if you’re trying to sleep early. I used earplugs and slept fine, but for most people noise could be an issue.
