Tam Tinh Vien Homestay

We absolutely love and were captivated by Thuy and Jean's story behind the orphanage and their mission statement . Supporting their cause with some of our tourist $$ is the least we can do. The compound Thuy and Jean created to look after the orphaned, disadvantaged and abused children is oozing with humanity, love and compassion. Spending time with the kids was a delight and so much fun. The cabin we stayed at ( #7) , was comfortable, clean and cozy. We originally planned a 1 night stay but ended up extending our stay to support their cause. The facility is surrounded by gardens and fragrant citrus orchard . Our continental breakfast was excellent

The property owner stayed up very late to make sure we checked in OK and took care of us during our stay. He recommended a few beautiful places we should see without prompt which helped direct our stay there. The food in the morning had a variety and was hot and delicious! There was also a lot of life at the Homestay, with us spotting lizards, tadpoles, koi and guppy fish in their natural habitat which was delightful to see

There was a loud lawnmower being used in the morning by the property next door which woke us up earlier than we wanted. While it wasn’t the property’s fault it definitely didn’t start our day the way we wished.

Great homestay 10 minutes away from town in scooter, kindly rented by the owner. Alternative is to go by bike Warm welcome from the owners, taking good care of their guests and advising for sightseeing and restaurants nearby Breakfast was delicious Bedroom was spacious, confortable and clean We recommend !

Amazing place to stay. Our family loved our stay at Tam Tinh Homestay. We spent a lot of time over at the orphanage and our kids lo loved playing bandminton with the beautiful children. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The hosts are very friendly and helpful.

Thw owner of the place is very nice and helpful. He cooked dinner for me and went with me to a restaurant to translate. The place is a bit far from the city, but you can take a bike or motobike to the city.

The room (tent) might be a bit small for 2 people.

So different to anything we have ever stayed in! The owner was so friendly and helpful! The room itself is stunning and unique. There are cute little pets on site along with the orphanage too, truly one off experience. Would absolutely recommend!

Nice location. More than friendly owner (very appreciated explanations about culture, habits and local religions. They are doing a very impressive job with children.

We stayed in a gorgeous traditional house, extremely spacious and comfortable. The homestay is linked to an orphanage accomodating more than 40 kids ranging from babies a few days old to young university students in their early twenties. The owners, Jean and his wife do a wonderful job with the orphanage and the management of the homestay. They are very attentive and make their guests feel special. Jean is a great source of information, after spending over 24 years in Vietnam. An unforgettable stay!

Breakfast was delicious.

This is the best stop we had so far in Vietnam, highly recommend this little gem. The owners are beautiful people, incredibly kind, helpful and knowledgeable. We were here to visit and try typical Vietnamese food and we couldn't get better recommendations. The kids are little angels, incredibly sweet and funny, it was an utterly heartwarming experience and my only regret is that we could not stay longer. Absolutely recommend this to anyone who loves history and is truly interested in Vietnamese culture. We will come back!!!

Nothing is dislikeable about this place. It's a gold mine for anyone who wants to understand better the country.
