An absolute little gem of a property with the most hospitable, informative owner ever! Spotlessly clean, beautiful interiors and the prettiest courtyard make this property a must for future visits. José provides an impeccable service and we will be returning for sure.

Location was great. Near to central area and river. Walking distance to restaurants, shopping and most historic sites. Rooms were thought fully decorated. Quiet with a pleasant courtyard for morning coffee or evening cocktails. Jose, our host had many useful tips and suggestions.

Note that there is not everyday cleaning of your room.

Everything! Jose is excellent and made us feel welcomed from the first. His attention to detail is incredible. The place is clean, well furnished and within a short walk to almost everything in town. If I’m ever in Portugal again I will definitely be staying here again.

Everything… superior accommodation. Stunning courtyard; kind and generous welcome; short walk to town; parking outside the door. A beautifully restored authentic Portuguese family home with top quality finishes and great artistic eye for fine details.

We stayed at Azul Sul in Tavira and couldn't ask for a more perfect days to rest in a beautiful, calm and spotless place, very well maintained and very well decorated. José, the Host, was amazing and it was a pleasure to talk to him: such a nice person, very careful with our stay, and he gave us lots of tips on beaches, restaurants, and typical Tavira markets. We will return for sure!

Everything! The property owner Jose and his hospitality. The room was great and comfortable and the premises were great. The location was perfect!

The only thing that I could point out is the bed pillows.. they are very flat and hard but besides that it was perfect!

We loved our stay at Azul Sul, and Jose was the perfect host! He showed us all the best sites of Taveira and gave us invaluable traveling tips and great conversation. The house is so charming, with its giant, sun-drenched deck and cozy living space, that it's impossible not to love.
