AzulSul is such a gem—a former family home lovingly restored in beautiful and sunny Tavira. Every detail is perfect. José, the host, is incredibly thoughtful and takes great care to ensure that guests are comfortable and happy. The garden is spectacular and a terrific place for reading, catching up on emails, or just relaxing.

A delightful, courtyard setting with stunning garden - beautifully decorated throughout - fresh & contemporary but has maintained a traditional feel with many lovely antique pieces. The best hosts, so welcoming - nothing was too much trouble - thank you to Jose and his wife.

Splendid private courtyard. Exceptionally clean and comfortable accommodation. Friendly and helpful host. Lovely fellow guests in other rooms.

Some building and related works in adjacent properties but, of course, this is outside the host's control and will be relatively short-lived.

José was a fantastic host, very knowledgeable and available when needed The property is BEYOND cute, interior courtyard is perfect for relaxing after a day of walking....tired feet! Loved the working water well with bucket and rope. Will stay again next visit to Tavira

This is a beautiful, recently updated property. The host was wonderful. We shared a bottle of wine on arrival, and he was available by text any time that we needed any help or advice. The property is very quiet and restful. The courtyard is beautifully maintained with wonderful small gardens.

I can’t think of a thing that wasn’t perfect.

The most wonderful welcome by Jose, the host! Clean and comfortable and great garden area to sit and relax.

Cosy and clean. Host is very helpful. In fact, Jose was one of the highlights of our visit to the Algarve. He is so positive about Tavira and the local region.

The owner, Jose and his wife are delightful. We can’t imagine a better experience or place to stay: historic, beautiful gardens, comfortable and quiet.
