Great location, charming setting.

The location bang in the middle of old town Braga, just steps from the famous cathedral.

The lock on the door of our room did not work. The door could not be locked, the lock was not repaired while we were there. The stairs to our upstairs rooms were steep and tight, getting an average 20kg suitcase up and down was quite the shlep.

This is an incredibly atmospheric room in the roof space of an old timber and brick-filled old house. Lots of old-fashioned charm, and the proprietor was very pleasant and helpful

The old structure of this house does rather shudder when heavy traffic passes over the cobbles below, and the noise of this and motorcycles is hard to ignore even in our room, two floors up. Perhaps it was worse because one of our nights was when Portugal played Spain in the Euros! Another drawback for some people may be the two very steep, narrow flights of stairs that must be negotiated to get to the upper room. Didn't worry us... but we were on our way to hike in the Geres mountains.

Debora, the hostess is an excellent person, always willing to help.

The main entry door lock needs fixing,. It is very difficult to lock and unlock.

Centrally located

Good location in the heart of Braga. Beautiful room. Lots of good restaurants near by, and lots of things to see and do within walking distance.

With all of the great restaurants and bars nearby, the place gets quite noisy at night. We stayed on a Saturday night and the noise continued past 2 am.

Great central position, comfy bed

Great location right in the old town. Close to restaurants, markets and shopping.

No wifi or tv. Guests should know the bathroom is on the main level and the bedroom is in the loft.
