I think the overall setting of the antiques in the house is really nice touch and makes it feel homy. The pool is not a rooftop pool but rather an undercover pool

- The entrance is dodgy with the heavy gate that has to be opened by hand and does not lock. - The club/bar that only ends at 2 AM is very loud, and you can not sleep until that time. - The warm water tap on the basin does not work - The light fixtures flickered had to unscrew the bulb. - The doors look like they have been broken into. Chipped off wood, and the lock is back to front. - There is leftover soap in the shower of previous guests, and not 1 but 3 blocks. - The shower head is broken. - Shower door is broken - No tea and coffee in the rooms - Walls are dirty, as well as cupboards, and bathroom cupboards are chipped - For the price, I would expect blocked-out curtains - The door was locked when I came back, and I had to find a way around the house to get to my room - This place is worth R450 per night, not the 860, and that was after a discount from somewhere over the 1000 mark

Staff very friendly and helpfull.

The pub on the site. Day visitors were very loud and the people were completely naked at times at the swiming pool which we don't appreciate. But I believe you make more from the bar than with the accomodation. We overall feel that the price was a bit to much.
