Cosy Room in Alcantara - Lisboa

Great location, affordable. Super pizza restaurant about ten minute walk away. Very comfortable stay.

Should be more clear that this is an apartment with multiple bedrooms surrounding a communal kitchen area. Its much more of a hostel than a guesthouse, or better suited to students. It is up several flights of stairs, and it smells of damp - however I understand these are both very common in airbnb type accommodation in Lisbon.

Confortable bed, clean accomodation, many cafes around, friendly hostess, easy check in and out.

Localization

If you have even the slightest possibility to book another accommodation, I strongly recommend doing so. I do not recommend this place. In 30 days, my bed linens were changed only twice, and the floor was cleaned just as often. There are 8 rooms, accommodating up to 16 people, but the conditions are absolutely unsuitable for such a number of guests. I have asked three times to see the license for operating and the allowed occupancy limit, but they refused to provide this information. The kitchen is extremely inconvenient: a tiny stove and a single table with four chairs, where even one person feels cramped. The shared bathroom has no hooks to hang clothes while taking a shower. There is no elevator in the building, and climbing the narrow stairs to the 3rd (or 4th) floor is quite an ordeal. In my room, the external shutter broke, but they didn't even attempt to repair it.

I had a fantastic three-day stay at this apartment in Lisbon. Its central location made it easy to explore the city's top attractions, with great restaurants and public transport options nearby. The apartment itself was stylish, clean, and well-maintained, offering a cozy and comfortable atmosphere with thoughtful amenities like a fully equipped kitchen, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a spacious bathroom. The host was incredibly responsive, providing helpful tips and making check-in smooth. Overall, it offered excellent value for money and was the perfect base for my Lisbon trip. I highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again!
