The Courtyard Guest House

The spacious room was above the bakery/restaurant with a stunning view from a balcony. There was everything and more one could wish for. The central location in the city makes it very easy to get aroumd by foot. Breakfast is outstanding in the restaurant. The host Jane and the communication was perfect. They are so flexible with everything and very likeable. When back in Clarens I will definitive come again.

Das Zimmer war sehr groß und das Bett modern ausgestattet. Parken auf dem umzäunten Hinterhof möglich. Die Vermieter arbeiten im Café im Erdgeschoss. Hier haben wir auch gleich gefrühstückt. Der Ort ist zauberhaft.

Die elektronische Türöffnung mit Code- Eingabe ist praktisch, aber das Schließen der Türen auf der gesamten Etage zu jeder Tag- oder Nachtzeit war sehr laut.

Aesthetically modern. Interesting code door lock system that negated keys. Perfect location on the square, above the bakery. Soaps and hand washes provided, there’s a hairdryer in the room. Tea/coffee (nespresso and instant) milk and bottled water topped up daily when the housekeeper cleans the room. Jane is super accommodating and helpful.

There are plenty of stairs - for an able bodied person it was no problem at all. The sound between the rooms does travel a bit - luckily we were a group of friends and were all up and moving at the same time.

Hostess was fantastic and went out of her way , over and above to make our stay perfect. Position is so perfect and close to everything .Rooms are of great standards and have everything one needs to be comfortable , everything works and is new. Stunning view of Golden gate from balcony. Would highly recommend this place and i will definitely return. The courtyard exceeded my expectations by far.

It is a great location in a lovely village close to Golden Gate National Park. The room was very comfortable and well equipped. Jane was very welcoming, knowledgeable and her recommendations were spot on. The sherry left out for a nightcap was a lovely unexpected touch.

Die Nähe zum Golden Gate Park. Das leckere Frühstück! Vielfältig ist eben ein Bäcker. Jane ist sehr hilfreich und freundlich, wie auch das gesamte Personal. Zu letzt Clarens hat uns sehr gefallen. Wir hatten das Cottage. Alles da was gebraucht wird.

Parfaitement situé près de la place principale de cet agréable bourg. Accueil très attentionné, conseils .... Parking intérieur sécurisé. Ravissant petit appartement bien décoré, extrêmement confortable, tant pour le mobilier que pour le linge. Terrasse. Cuisine et salle de bain fonctionnelles. Wifi au top. Calme, lumineux et proche de tout. Petit déjeuner splendide à la pâtisserie. Personnel souriant et chaleureux. Bon rapport qualité/prix. Vraiment parfait ! Bravo.
