"It left a bad taste in our mouths, unfortunately."

Position. Cleanliness

We didn’t get the room we booked. We booked a room with a view, a flatscreen TV, as well as a terrace. Our room had none of the above. After questioning the reason, we were told that the room we rented, were just rented through Booking, before our booking. I wasn’t informed of this, although the host, Roz were communicating with us via whatsapp. She said she is “upgrading” us to a better suite and thought she was doing us a favour. She made us feel really ungrateful and overly unappreciated of her “upgrade”. We felt like spoiled brats.

Absolute wonderful host - we loved the small details like hot water bottles and heaters for the cold weather. Extra bonus: hot chocolate for the kids and sherry for mom and dad! Thanks Roz, you will most definitely see us again!
