Heahtitude - Children Not Allowed

The facilities are good, with the kitchen equipped with all basic necessities. They also provided some guides about places and activities to do around the areas

Property was super lovely, with some good views and great facilities. Comfy bed, and were given a very helpful guide of what to do from the guest house. Had a very filled and fun couple of days of completing some of the trails and then had a half day tour that was very easy to book. The guesthouse can even let your bus to your next destination, know that you’re staying here, so that you can save on the travel to Tanah Rata. We also rate Mama’s cafe, a restaurant in the village, for food!!

It’s a 25 min journey from Tanah Rata which personally we enjoyed as it was so nice not to be in a touristy area, however if you want to do the trails in the highlands, you should take this into consideration.

Heahtitude is located in a normal farming town, Dennis the host was amazingly helpful, and provided a great pdf guide of what to do in the area. Next door is a great Steamboat restaurant. Mr Marappan and sons can organise tours and Bus tickets other parts of the country.

Great, traditional place, perfectly furbished in retro style. We had a double room with an en-suite bathroom and the room was perfect, with everything we needed. The hotel has amazing atmosphere, you feel like at your friend’s. Bryan, who welcomed us, was very kind, gave us all the info and was available all the time in case we would need anything. Kuala Terla itself is a small village half an hour by car from Tanah Rata but it is not a problem at all. Heahtitude has amazing guide book prepared for its guest so you will learn instantly that you can arrange anything you need right next door at the Mini Market (bus to next destination, tours etc.). We have also tried some restaurants, arrange a lift by taxi from Tanah Rata and visited Wednesday market, everything by the recommendation of Heahtitude guide book. And everything worked great. Thanks for amazing stay!

The only thing is that the house is part of quite a living neighborhood so sometimes it can be noisy at night (dogs barking etc.). But that was not a huge issue for us, it was part of the atmosphere.

We all loved the quirky furniture - The bed was snug and comfortable Kitchen well organised and the village location means it's near shops and places to eat ....

There was a dog that barked a tad too early in the morning!!! It's hard to find anything that we didn't like.
