Masane Lodge

Though the rooms are beautiful and clean, there is no wifi password and no TV Channels. The water was very cold in the morning. If afraid of dogs don't bother booking there.

It was nice and quite peaceful it was clean the owner and cleaners was friendly

There was nothing that I didn't like it was amazing

There’s nothing I dislike here.

The friendliness of the staff and the host was more than accommodating. They waited for me with a smile even if it was way past check in time.

The shower door in room 3 was built small so my husband was struggling to get In but the host organized another room for us within a blink of any eye we were sorted.

I liked everything about the property. The staff was so welcoming and helpful

The place is really great, actually better than in pictures. The service was good though I waited a bit outside the gate waiting for someone to open. It has quite a lot of complementary drinks and some sweets too.

During loadshedding, the rooms turned into a sauna room due to no alternative energy for aircons. I had to sit in my car for more than two hours in order to remain cool and sane🙂. There are no staff, owners, or security guards on the premises. I was woken up at 1am by a great noise that sounded like a robbery, just to find out after a long time that it was other guests who came back drunk. Because it was loadshedding and the rooms were extremely hot, they sat outside their rooms, chatting, making unbearable noise. Couldn't find anyone on the premises. The emergency numbers were off, and the number I called when checking in wasn't answered. And then there was a choir singing the whole night, dont know what to call that one🤔. I left the lodge at 2:30 am. Because I could not bear the noise and heat, I could not fall asleep at all. Later, when I arrived at another venue. I reported to the owner the discomfort I experienced, and he was sincerely apologetic, which I appreciated. He was open to the suggestions given, which was also a plus that made me not write off the lodge forever. I loved the boldness of the location chosen for the lodge, however, without proper night staff or security and soundproofing the rooms. It is going to be turned into something totally different.
