It’s very friendly and close to beautiful beaches and shops in this small island. The atmosphere is really nice and the food it’s outstanding! Loved it.

No AC in the rooms, no hot water in the shower

Very careful and helpful staff, shower is outside which is nice experience, hostel is at the best location, many good cares and restaurants, beach 4 minutes away,very very comfortable bed, cosy :3

Wifi in the dorm doesnt really work, at cafe is better :))

The common area is so chill and really invites for socializing, without the hostel being one of those party hostels. People from all over the island, not even staying at Tropical, even come to Tropical to chill there and meet friends there. It's a meeting place for amazing, kind, open-minded people. The food is also really good (the chicken cashew omg) and they have a coffee bar with great coffee. I loved the couch and reading chairs! And the big and easily accessible lockers are also a plus! Last but not least: The location is amazing. Within 2 minutes you're on the beautiful Ao Yai Beach with heaps of nice beach restaurants to chill and have a drink at.

I thought the sinks in the bathroom were quite gross. There wasn't really a clean and dry space to put your toiletry bag down and the weirdly deep sinks were like holes were if you'd drop your stuff in there, you'd never ever want to stick your hand down lol. That's a big improvement point in my eyes. Also, the mattresses were to soft to my taste, but that's just personal taste.
