The most vibe place on the island. Super helpful and lovely staff. Surf boards for rent for a very good price!

Still not Pai. Ultra hippies may not fit in. But it’s like this everywhere except Pai.

"Nice stay, but overpriced"

I had a nice stay at the hostel. Comfy bed, good location. I slept in a 12 beds dorm and people were all very respectful of common rules.

I think it is overpriced. If you add 200bath more to their listed price, you can have your private bungalow on the beach without the hassle of sharing spaces with others.

The dogs and kittens are the best!!!Absolutely loved my tent. I personally found it better than any bungalow I slept in. The staff are absolutely lovely and they offer food at reasonable prices at their restaurant/cafe. The common space is great.they offer drinking water. Showers at night were nice cause you could look up at the stars.

Be aware that there is no kitchen. Also the WiFi is useless but this is an island wide issue, not specific to Tropical.

Simply the best hostel I have been in Thailand. The owners are extremely friendly and take good care of the property and help you with anything you need. Clean, laid back, perfect place to escape for a while (longer preferred)

"Best. Hostel. Ever."

Literally like the greatest hostel. I haven't stayed in a hostel since my 20's (I'm in my 40's) and this one was SUPER COOL! I think the best part was the vibe. People were literally coming from other hostels to hang out at Tropical Hostel. The owners and staff are kind, helpful, inclusive, encouraging, and have great energy. I rarely go back to places in the world (I like new places), but Ko Payam, and Tropical Hostel I would go back to in a flash. PS, we stayed in a tent as that's all that was available and I'm so glad we did. The bed was above our expectations and the pillows comfortable.

Literally nothing. It's perfect.
