The Lookout Pai - Mountain View Hideaway

A nice balcony with a view really made this place. The place was comfortable and clean. Nights were very loud with wild dogs howling and the dogs living within the complex joining in, bring earplugs. The location could be good for someone staying longer but for a few quick days to explore Pai I wish we had stayed closer to town, there’s nothing within walking distance except 1 local restaurant.

Natural interior, beautiful bedding and view. The owner had beautiful sense of everything from the room to the kitchen.

Location, design, friendliness

Missing mosquito net on windows. / Missing offer of Air Conditioning (I had my own net and own anti mosquito lamp, however room heated too much up during the day and kept hot at night). Don't mind paying a little more if this service requires this (I know I had the low budget bungalow, however I recommend upgrading this.) Would have been nice to find the outdoor area near and around the kitchen cleaner (floor and sitting material, table cloths).

The whole property has a really nice character. The views are beautiful and it's nice and quiet. Inside the room there were lots of nice touches including books, art materials, yoga matt etc. Large spacious room and also a wel equipped shared kitchen. You will need your own transport to get around or into town.

The shower was never hot, and barely even warm. Which in the colder months makes showering very difficult. Hopefully they'll get this fixed soon!
