Hay Farm House

It was just excellent, Rachel was very acomadating nothing to much trouble,the views from the room was stunning,the bteakfast was great,there was everything on the table that you could want. If we are ever in the location again we would hope to stay there.

From the minute we arrived we loved everything about Hay Farm House. In twenty years of reviewing a variety of accommodation, I have never given a perfect 10, but this time, no question. Rachel is the perfect host, striking a balance between warm, friendly, helpful and professional. The whole house is beautiful, spacious, warm, welcoming and peaceful, in a stunning setting. Spotlessly clean with quality furnishings and everything well maintained. Superb breakfast with a wide choice of plentiful local produce, cooked and presented to perfection with a personalised touch.

Excellent both mornings. Partner loved his scrambled eggs with the tomatoes in chilli jam. We both really enjoyed our little yoghurt pots with fruit, fruit compote and granola too.

The breakfast was amazing!!! so much choice… Rachel our host was so friendly, accommodating, and nothing was too much trouble, she even let us store our bikes in her garage and offered to let us charge them if necessary… it’s the little extras that make all the difference. Her knowledge of the area was incredible and helped us to make decisions of where to eat and visit… Thank you so much for making our stay so memorable. We will definitely be back….

Wow! Everything was perfect. Beautiful location with amazing views. Lovely room and a Wonderful breakfast each morning. We were looked after so well by Rachel, who was so warm and friendly and we will definately be returning

Great hosts, bright comfortable room with all the amenities you could need. Fabulous breakfast and an amazing view. A great base near lots of places but also tucked out of the way for peace and quiet. We will definitely be returning

If I was being very picky the only thing I could comment on was the quality of the toilet roll

no lift if you have no transport dont use taxi real exspenvie to the property their is a bus but every two house 267 takes you to most places b1 in town takes you to local in town.
