Hay Farm House

Everything about our stay was perfect. Rachel was friendly, had a wealth of knowledge about the area and beyond. Her breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. Hay Farm House, is beautiful, our bedroom was lovely with amazing views over the Cheviots.

I wish we could have stayed longer.

Rachel is a warm and friendly lady. The room was inviting, had all the amenities your would need. Everything was really tidy and clean. Breakfast was superb. I am a fussy person (just ask my husband lol) , I found this home to be exceptional and definitely a place I would come back to.

Very easy to find. Very clean and decorated well throughout. Excellent breakfast with lots of choices to choose from. Rooms outstanding with sofas to sit on to look at fantastic views and fridge, Netflix if weather isn’t good. Hostess very friendly and helpful. Would definitely return to this property best B&B we have stayed in.

Everything outstanding.

A gem of a place, we stayed for two nights and wished we had booked for longer. We were made to feel so welcome. The breakfast was amazing, cooked to perfection. The site is central to a lot of popular places such as Lindesfarne, Berwick on Tweed, Bamburgh Castle, Flodden battlefield. There are geese, chickens and ducks on site, very entertaining and also just around the back of the property is the heavy horse farm which is a wonderful place to visit with many big horses, pygmy goats, rare pigs and sheep. The horses and goats can be fed by buying treats from the cafe. The museum was interesting. A big thanks to Rachael, you were so friendly and very helpful. :)

Everything you could hope for in an exceptional location. Great host, great house, beautiful furnishings, and so peaceful it was a very rare treat. Also really good value for money when considering the very high standards offered in all respects.

Rachael, the host was very welcoming, the house was lovely with nicely proportioned rooms. The Caledonian room was large and had a great view! Breakfast was great too.
