Ayu Sari Guesthouse Ubud by Mahaputra

This is such a beautiful guesthouse, situated just a 10 minute walk from the main street in Ubud. The pool is lovely and the room is so big and spacious and cleaned to a very high standard. All the staff are so friendly and go out of their way to accommodate you. The breakfast every morning was delicious - so much choice and delivered directly to your balcony at your chosen time.

A mini fridge in the room would be a great addition to keep drinks cool!

Great location, just a short walk from the main road and some of the key sights in Ubud. Nice and quiet due to being set back (not possible for cars to come all the way but literally a 2 min walk from the car stop sign). The rooms looked exactly the same in person and were kept clean throughout.

The only thing we could pick out is that the bed was very creaky, even just from sitting on it and moving in the night.

Very clean and well designed rooms! The ac worked well and it was quiet and comfortable. Staff helped us arrange transport to the airport. You can walk into the main town easily!

The pool is very small, and only two sun loungers. The breakfast wasn’t very good.

The room is a bit dark. Less sunlight coming in.

I don’t know how this guesthouse has such high ratings. Room 3 that we were given was FULL OF MOULD. The smell of dampness when you walk inside was awful. The curtains were full of mould and the smell was just awful. The bedding was dirty and never changed throughout our stay. The bathroom was mouldy and filthy. We couldn’t wait to leave.

It was clean, the bed was spacious, it’s in a secluded area so we won’t hear motorcycle noises

Initially the door was hard to open and close but they were able to fix it in the middle of our stay. The cleaners in the morning would make some noise and we can hear them from the room.

Very friendly staff, great choices of breakfast, clean rooms, definitely recommend
