Feliz Vista Casa-Hospedaje

Essa foi a hospedagem que mais me marcou durante minha viagem ao Peru! Primeiramente, a host (Salomé) é sensacional! Ela me recebeu com chá de coca, explicou todas as instruções sobre locomoção em Cusco, preparou um café da manhã delicioso todos os dias e tivemos conversas muito agradáveis. Ela transmite verdadeira atenção com as pessoas e eu já estou com saudades, quero voltar! O meu quarto era confortável, com muitos cobertores para o frio e toalha de banho. Tudo era muito limpo! Além disso, ela oferece o serviço de lavar-roupas por um ótimo preço e isso foi muito útil!

A propriedade possui um pequeno pátio aberto (muito comum nas construções peruanas) e por isso para acessar o banheiro é preciso atravessar a área aberta. Isso pode te fazer sentir frio para ir ao banheiro no inverno.

Die Gastgeberin hat uns überaus freundlich nach unserem Nachtbus empfangen und unser Zimmer schnellstmöglich vorbereitet, sodass wir schon um 8.30 Uhr einchecken konnten. Es wurde uns jeder Wunsch erfüllt und wir konnten zudem noch für 5 Tage während unserem Salkantay-Trek spontan unser Gepäck dort lagern. Die Unterkunft an sich sehr einfach aber schöner Ausblick über die Stadt, das Zentrum gut zu Fuß erreichbar und Frühstück ausreichend.

Das Zimmer war etwas kalt, was aber normal für Cusco ist.

Le quartier est central, bien qu'en hauteur, prévoyez de monter des marches ! Propreté et accueil absolument extra. Douche chaude, literie confortable. L'hôté Salomé est extraordinaire et nous a accompagnés pendant tout le séjour , morcelé en plusieurs fois chez elle.

The host was the most lovely person; I only stayed for one night before heading to the sacred valley and I arrived late; even then the host stayed up and greeted me with with such warmth and tea. The room was simple, very clean and cozy

Salome was the cutest host ever! I felt like home. She always tried her best to make my stay pleasant and help me were she could. The room I booked was spacious and had all the basics. The bathroom was outside the room and shared. The breakfast was simple but delicious. The guesthouse lies pretty high up in Cusco. It’s like 10-15min walking to the city center but backwards you need like 20-25min. But the views from the rooftop are beautiful!

As I already indicated is the guesthouse located a bit far from the center and pretty uphill. If you have problems with that and also dealing with high altitude I cannot recommend booking it. For me it was fine. The only incidents I had was with street and owned dogs. On the way up I always struggled a little bit and therefore walked slower. Not sure if it was because of that but I got attacked by several dogs every time on my way back to the guesthouse which was really traumatizing. I didn’t provoke them or do anything and as I said it only happened when I walked up, never down. Downhill they only barked a little. Because of that i got seriously scared of dogs and changed the accommodation after Machu Picchu to one in the center. It’s of course not the fault of the guest house but for me I could not go back there again. Another thing: it was really really cold in the room as the it was not inside a house but outside in a courtyard. Same goes for the bathrooms. 4 blankes were not enough for the freezing night. Maybe an electric heater would be really helpful.

The hospitality of Salome. She was amazing! She showed us the fastest way to go to the main square from the hospedaje. Additionally, the breakfast was great since we have the possibility to drink coca tea everyday, variety of juices and delicious mermelade. The room was Cosy for a couple.

I like everything.

So comfortable. Perfect for a solo stay. The kindest and most accommodating staff. They really made the stay special and I will remember their hospitality for a long time! I really enjoyed my time here and I would have stayed longer if I could!

Family was very kind and welcoming, we felt at home. Value for money was excellent. Lovely view from the rooftop, a little outside the centre of Cusco but easy to walk in and get the bus back. Bed was comfy, lots of blankets on the bed to keep warm!

Minor point but there is a gap at the bottom of the shower curtain so the bathroom floor was completely wet after a shower.
