50 CHURCH STREET - GALLE FORT

It is a fantastic place with great character! Bang on Church Street right next to Pedlars Street. If you have to experience Galle Fort, it's best done when you stay within it. This place ticks all boxes. It just so happened that I was the only guest in this two room large home. Was a lil unnerving on the first night but got used to it on the second & enjoyed every bit of the solitude of having the whole place for myself. The owner is very communicative & helpful & Nabeel the caretaker is supersweet. Already recommended this place to a few of my friends who plan to visit Galle soon. Will gladly stay here again.

We had reserved 2 rooms, but had the entire 'house' at our disposal. The rooms have a high ceiling, offering a great feeling of space. They are comfortable, with modern bathroom. The house is beautifully decorated and an oasis of space and peace, situated in the center of the old city. Price/quality-wise, this was a top location.

Beautiful space and architecture. Its like living in an art gallery with beautiful paintings and furniture everywhere. Location is prime. And Azwaan was an amazing and responsive host.

The kitchen could be a bit better maintained but we didnt really use it.

Excellent location, excellent staff. Azwan was very polite and professional. Initially we were a bit worried that there was no staff at the location during the night, as we were two women travelling on our own. But we had no issues during our stay specially since there were no other guests during our stay. Lovely interior and comfortable beds. Exceptionally clean room and toilet. Will definitely come back with family.
