Villa Aroshina with cooking class

We loved our stay with Aroshina and her family in their beautiful home. The room was so clean and comfortable and the breakfast was huge and delicious. They welcomed us like friends and drove us to Galle Fort for free. We only stayed for one night but wished we could stay longer. We'd really recommend this to anyone visiting Galle!

Lady of the house Aroshina, her husband anf their 2 kids make you feel like home. The design makes you feel like in an exotic country (which Sri Lanka is:)) and the distance to the Fort and downtown of Galle is 15 min walk. The neighborhood is very calm and clean. The room itself is a heaven: original design, the bed is the biggest and the most comfortable we have had in 2 weeks in Sri Lanka. Especially, we appreciated the air-conditioning in the room, which allowed us to spend 2 awesome silent and cool nights. The hosts were there for us whenever needed, and what we especially appreciated were the tuktuk pick up and drop off as we were travelling by public transport in this part of Sri Lanka. Briefly: IF POSSIBLE, WE WOULD SCORE 11 and not “only” 10.

The family was really great. They inviter you to be a part of the family. Aroshina, a shining star of social intelligence and ambition in life. Nice house and a room with fan, ac och hot water shower. Nice breakfast. Galle is really a nice place.

Maybe a bit far from beach and fort. But the familjen brought you anywhere with the tuk tuk so it’s no Big isskrapa.
